Confirm the connection route for your model
Start with the hearing-aid maker’s current iPhone compatibility statement. Apple’s Made for iPhone hearing-device instructions apply to supported devices; a generic Bluetooth or iOS-compatible label does not establish every Apple hearing-device feature.
This guide helps you prepare the right instructions and test the function you need. It does not certify any directory model as Made for iPhone or supply a pairing sequence that overrides its manual.
Write down the four identifiers
- The complete hearing-aid model and generation.
- Your iPhone model and current operating-system version.
- The exact companion app, if one is required.
- The function you want: settings, calls, music or another feature.
Ask which instructions apply to that combination. A minimum operating-system version is a starting condition, not proof that every calling or microphone function is supported.
Test one function at a time
After following the appropriate official procedure, check app adjustments separately from media and calls. Note whether the function works on both aids where relevant and what happens when you return to normal phone use. Do not infer success from an app battery indicator alone.
RIC700 explicitly documents iOS-only phone audio, while Xpure documents hearing and streaming with different runtime claims. Those examples show why platform support and battery expectations must both be checked for the exact model.
If pairing does not give the expected result
Use the troubleshooting guide to identify whether the issue is discovery, settings or audio. Keep a record of the device and phone information before contacting support. Ask before removing pairings or resetting personalized settings.
For purchase decisions, obtain compatibility confirmation while the actual seller’s return period still gives you time to act. Do not apply instructions from a different hearing-aid brand simply because its screenshots use an iPhone.
