A brand name is not a replacement part number
Do not assume a wax guard sold for one Audien model fits every device in the range. Start with the complete model, generation and its maintenance instructions. This guide does not provide a universal part or a replacement sequence that overrides the manual.
The recorded Atom Pro 2 package includes a wax-guard kit. That establishes a documented package item, not compatibility with Atom One, Atom Air or every ION generation.
Give support enough information to match the part
- The complete model and generation on the device or package.
- The identifier on the original consumable pack, if available.
- The replacement part name you are considering.
- The manual page describing replacement for your device.
Ask the manufacturer to confirm both the match and procedure. Similar color or apparent size in a store image is not sufficient evidence.
Keep the task within the documented method
Follow the specified tool and sequence. Do not force an uncertain part into place, push a tool farther into an opening or substitute another model’s instructions. If a part is stuck or damaged, stop and ask for model-specific service.
A wax guard belongs to the device. Replacing it is not a method for removing wax from your ear, and this guide does not diagnose the cause of a change in sound.
Check the pack and supply terms
Confirm the quantity, identifier and seller before buying. A hearing-aid bundle may change, and a recurring care service may have separate consumable terms. Keep the order record so you can identify the same part later.
For choosing an Audien hearing aid, use the model matrix. For ordinary care, use the cleaning checklist. This page owns the narrower replacement-part task and does not rank accessories or promise that changing a guard will solve every problem. Seek appropriate advice about ear discomfort or suspected blockage.
